Thursday, January 6, each student received a handout containing the following information. Plus, each student is to write this information in his/her planner.
Additional assignments will be added; this is simply an overview of this nine week period.
Due Friday, January 7 ..... handout questions for Chapter 1 in the novel The Pearl
Due Monday, January 10 ..... Students are to read Chapter 2 in the novel and answer the handout questions for Chapter 2.
Due Thursday, January 13 ..... Read Chapter 3, pages 21-30 ... On page 30, students are to stop reading at the first indented paragraph: "Kino stood in the door...." Also due.....questions 1-11 for Chapter 3.....
Due Friday, January 14 ..... Read Chapter 3, pages 30-40 and answer questions 12 -19 for Chapter 3.
***Also on Friday, January 14, test on voc. #7.
Monday, January 17 ...... holiday
Due Friday, January 28 ..... 5 AR points
Monday, January 31 - Saturday, February 5 ..... Washington trip :-) We will be back in Montgomery around 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning.
Friday, February 18 - Monday, February 21 ..... four day weekend
Monday, February 28 - Wednesday, March 2 .... Students can take only one AR test. This does not apply to those who are trying to double their AR points.
Thursday, March 3..... final day to take an AR test for the third nine week period.....Students can take
only one AR test on this day. Again, this does not apply to those who are trying to double their AR points.
Friday, March 4 .... end of third nine weeks
March 14 - March 18 ..... SPRING BREAK
